While investigating and investigating the offense committed by a child according to the prevailing law, the police unit or staff as per rule 3 shall follow the provisions as follows in addition to the provision written in the prevailing law:-
(a) Police personnel should wear plain clothes without police uniform,
(b) When the child is arrested, he must give his identity and show the identity document, the reason for arresting the child must be disclosed,
(c) To inform the arrested child about his constitutional and legal rights in a language he understands,
(d) As far as possible, both the parents of the child, or at least one of them, and if there are no parents, the guardian should be informed about the offense committed by the child,
(e) To have the child's physical and mental health checked immediately by a doctor at the nearest government hospital,
(f) At the time of land acquisition, both of the child's parents, or at least one of them, and if there is no parent, the child's guardian should be kept in custody,
(G) To request the person or organization providing the service to prepare a social study report in the format as per the schedule in relation to the child concerned.
